laura garza has a master's in art education and bachelor's in architecture from iteso. since 1996, she has worked across multiple visual arts disciplines — including painting, ceramics, photography, sculpture, video, performance, and digital art — with exhibitions in mexico, france, spain, and switzerland. since 1999, she has taught at iteso, where she also coordinates the diploma in contemporary art theory and history. her work centers on public art projects with vulnerable communities, exploring collective memory and its impact on the construction of both virtual and physical space.
