humberto baca (chihuahua, 1966) is a visual artist, philosopher, and dancer whose practice spans printmaking, painting, and sculpture, shaped by his studies in philosophy and contemporary dance. he holds a degree in philosophy from the universidad de guadalajara and an mfa in printmaking from la scuola internazionale di grafica el bisonte in florence. his work has been exhibited in mexico, italy, south korea, singapore, and costa rica. based in guadalajara, where he co-founded the printmaking workshop la torre de los grillos and the centro cultural exim.
