supermorphe is a design studio founded in guadalajara, mexico in 2006, devoted to reconnecting digital precision with the integrity of traditional craft.
the studio blends contemporary design tools with time-honored woodworking techniques to create furniture that honors both innovation and heritage. each piece is built on flexible systems—structures and proportions that flow across chairs, tables, and shelving—allowing form to adapt while maintaining a cohesive design language.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
a writing desk integrating storage compartments within a solid walnut frame. the design organizes drawers, sliding surfaces, and structural members through concealed joinery and mechanical hardware—friction hinges, drawer slides, and pivot points embedded within the wood assembly. the joinery tightens over time as wood settles, increasing structural stability through seasonal cycles.
